Benjamin Hough

Assistant Ecologist

Benjamin Hough is an Assistant Ecologist at Johns Associates, where he provides support to more senior colleagues in conducting protected species surveys and habitat condition assessments. After working with Johns as a VHW during the summer of 2024, Ben recently joined the team on a permanent part-time basis until he completes his master’s degree in February 2025, at which point he will transition to full-time. He has a particular passion for amphibians, especially frogs, which is the focus of his master’s research. When he isn’t working, you can find him hiking, wild swimming, or spending time with friends and family.
