George Jones

Assistant Ecologist

George is an Assistant Ecologist at Johns Associates and joined the company in May 2025. George uses his accrued conservation knowledge to conduct field surveys and assessments alongside the team of ecologists, as well as producing desk-based studies for planning and developments. 

He has survey experience through the Society of Protection of Turtles, alongside animal rehab work at Seal Rescue Ireland. He is endeavouring to develop this professional training through his membership with CIEEM.

When away from the ecological work, George is an avid rugby fan, playing for Bradford on Avon and coaching both at the senior and junior level.
