The Brief

To prepare a planning application for the installation of a 40MW ground mounted (PV) solar farm and associated ecosystem services in Dorset which constituted EIA development.

 

Our Role

• Lead and provide a multi-discipinary project team to prepare a range of technical reports including an Environmental Statement.
• Work collaboratively to devise appropriate mitigation and enhancement strategies to be embedded within the proposals.
• Achieve desired outcomes for client and significant environmental net gain.
• Provide early engagement with statutory consultees allowing for thorough consultation process and robust planning submission.
• Provide professional support during the planning process and post-planning giving the client continual support from our technical specialists.

The Outcome

A successful planning submission for our client that received unanimous support at Planning Committee and was described as an ‘exemplar scheme’ by statutory consultees and decision makers.
